Cell Based Assays
Cell-Based Assays are laboratory techniques that use living cells to evaluate the biological activity, efficacy, toxicity, or mechanism of action of drugs, biologics, chemicals, or other compounds. Because they measure responses in intact cells, they provide information that is often more physiologically relevant than biochemical (cell-free) assays.
